5. Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (Powerful Business Laptop)

At number five, it’s the Dell Inspiron 15 7000. Keeping up with all the technology trends is very hard and may take a toll on your pocketbook. However, a laptop is as necessary as a smartphone these days. And I’ve decided to compile a list with some great business options in the sub-$1000 market.

The first option is the Dell Inspiron 15 7000, a business and gaming laptop that delivers the most performance and features for its price. But then again, nothing less is expected of Dell. It’s a great business laptop on the affordable side.

With great battery life, an amazing design, solid performance, and tons of features, it’s very hard not to consider this laptop. It’s pretty rare to see a premium design with an all-metal chassis or something similar. However, the company has managed to bring you a pleasing-looking device that will leave you satisfied.

It comes with two paint jobs, one of which comes with a red lid and a black keyboard deck and a more streamlined back body with some red accents, which is my personal favorite. And the model we’re going to review today has a plastic chassis. However, it feels pretty nice on the hands since it has a soft-touch finish on the lid.

And on the front and back edges, you’ll spot the lines of the device that make it ultra-attractive and very aggressive as a business laptop. This is pretty slim, measuring just an inch thick, and it weighs a hefty 5.8 pounds in total.

This laptop comes with a 15.6-inch in-plane switching panel with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 Full HD, which was a little disappointing. A better screen was expected, but the specs were kept reasonable for this business laptop.

The screen is LED-backlit and has an anti-glare coating, and the IPS display delivered some pleasing visuals. The refresh rates were pretty good, and the time was reasonably low to deliver good business performance. With its amazing 11 hours of battery life, the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is one of the best laptops you can buy under $1000.

4. Apple MacBook Air (Best Business MacBook)

Number four is the Apple MacBook Air. Apple MacBooks have been branded as expensive laptops that are not worth their price. However, through the years, its laptops have delivered excellent ultra-portable options with tons of performance and durability.

Such as their latest Air, which has a solid Retina display, Touch ID, a beautiful and pleasing butterfly keyboard, a lightweight and portable body, as the name implies, and an incredible price.

If you want a MacBook and the most bang for your buck, this is it. I can comfortably say that the new version of the Apple MacBook Air is more streamlined and refined. However, it still has the iconic wedge design that other generations had. While there are tons of ultraportables on the market, this one stands out among all of them because of its recycled aluminum construction.

It feels great in the hands, and I’m a big fan of its design. This portable laptop weighs just 2.7 pounds and measures just 0.6 inches at its thickest point. And it comes in three different paint jobs: space gray, silver, which is also my favorite, and the gold version that looks premium.

In the connectivity department, you’ll spot two Thunderbolt ports and a 3.5-millimeter audio jack, which is a little lacking, as I mentioned earlier.

The Apple MacBook Air has a Touch ID fingerprint scanner that’s located on the top right corner of the keyboard, and it works very consistently and in a fast manner, as well as on your smartphone for security reasons.

The company has also implemented the T2 security chip, which stores fingerprints and encrypts data on the fly for privacy and security. It’s worth mentioning the new Butterfly keyboard keys. They’re springy and tactile, and the battery lasts 12 hours. You can’t get any better than this, one of the safest choices on the market.

3. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 (Best 2 in 1 Business Laptop)

At number three, it’s the Microsoft Surface Pro 6. While 2-in-1 laptops are appealing, it’s pretty difficult to find an affordable model. Microsoft is a pretty safe choice in this market, and its Surface Pro 6 model is very affordable and doesn’t make many compromises.

But since this model is extremely attractive, It boasts an amazing display, good performance specs, a lightweight body, and much more. It’s one of the best two-in-ones on the market.

Not to mention the sub-$1000 price. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a very attractive laptop, as I mentioned. And compared to its predecessor, it’s more streamlined and attractive. This tablet or laptop measures 0.33 inches at its thickest. Without the keyboard and waist, it is 1.7 pounds.

The kickstand is excellent as well since it can be extended up to 165 degrees and allows it to be used in three different modes: tablet, laptop, and studio.

The matte black finish of the laptop is one of the better ones I’ve seen on the market, delivering a pretty pleasing look that will make your colleagues jealous. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is equipped with a 12.3-inch PixelSense display that’s truly one of the best options in a 2-in-1 laptop.

And it has a resolution of 2736 by 1824 pixels and can get pretty bright and colorful on its first impression, while the viewing experience was excellent. While testing, I found out that the display achieved about 410 nits at its maximum. And it managed to reproduce about 136 percent of the RGB color gamut with a delta ii rating of 0.56, making it one of the best displays on the market.

In terms of performance and power, this laptop is ready for action since it’s packed with an eighth-generation Intel Core i5 CPU with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage. In my benchmark tests, I’m confident that it can handle a wide range of business-related tasks with ease.

2. Acer Predator Helios 300 (Budget Business Laptop)

Number two is the Acer Predator Helios 300. Business laptops are generally very expensive devices since they need excellent performance specs and good displays to run tasks properly.

However, I have a nice option here under the $1000 price. The Acer Predator Helios 300 comes with an amazing 144 Hz IPS display and great performance specs. That should make the Acer Predator Helios 300 one of the best budget business laptops right from the get-go.

You’ll notice that the Acer Predator Helios 300 is a budget business laptop thanks to its aggressive design, sharp angles, red highlights, and a beautiful Predator logo.

It’s not very outlandish, but I wouldn’t say that it’s an office laptop since it’s pretty bulky. However, it is built with matte black plastic, giving it a simple look. But as I said earlier, I wouldn’t pack it in the office.

Since it’s guaranteed to attract the weird look. Despite being mostly plastic, the overall build quality is good and it feels very sturdy. There are no flexes or gaps in the body. And it’s a little thick at 1.1 inches and a little heavy with 5.5 pounds of weight.

The Acer Predator Helios 300 is equipped with a 15.6-inch in-plane switching display. That has a full HD resolution of 1080p, which is good for the price. It also has a 144 hertz refresh rate, which, when combined with its low response time, makes it a great business laptop.

On top of this, the IPS panel delivers 84% of the sRGB color space and a solid contrast ratio, making it a decent laptop for watching content—not great but not terrible by any means.

However, to make it run business apps properly with high frame rates, it utilizes an NVIDIA GTX 1060 graphics unit coupled with 6 gigabytes of dedicated VRAM. One of the best features of this laptop is the AeroBlade metal fans that cool it properly and give it an edge over other laptops.

And at number one, it’s the Asus Zenbook UX333FA. The best business laptop under $1,000 is unquestionably at the top of our list.

This laptop has a 13-inch screen, an affordable price, an amazing battery life, a thin bezel, a list screen, tons of ports, a touchpad that can be forced to function as a numeric keypad, and a slew of other features that make it one of the most appealing models on the market.

Without a doubt, it’s like any other Zenbook laptop. This one is also a premium design. And it has a very close resemblance to the Zenbook. Thanks to its premium blue aluminum finish with circles surrounding the Asus logo on the back lid.

Compared to its predecessor, this laptop is thinner and lighter since it measures 0.67 inches even at its thickest point and weighs just 2.62 pounds in total. This device is also pretty durable and sturdy. I noticed this while inspecting it closely. And it has plenty of durability tests, including the mil-standard 810g.

On top of that, this laptop has plenty of connectivity ports, including a USB Type-C port, and the USB Type-A 3.1 port, an HDMI port, a USB 2.0 port, a microSD port, and a 3.5-millimeter port to complete the package. In addition, a USB-C to Ethernet adapter is included.

This particular model boasts a 13.3-inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 by 1080, delivering excellent details and tons of brightness. The overall viewing experience was very good. Thanks to the displays’ amazing colors and viewing angles.

The keyboard felt a little tight, but it was pretty good. The trackpad was excellent, though. Since it was pretty large, it could convert into a touch numeric pad, making it great for productivity in business-related tasks. If you want a great all-arounder that can perform at all times, you can’t go wrong with this Asus Zenbook.
